Magpie Tale 105: Ride

I have been out riding all night and all day
from East Coast to West Coast. I’m more than half way.
I’m tired and I’m looking for somewhere to stay.

I have been out riding with all of my might.
The schedule alas was a little too tight.
I long for a meal and a bed for the night.

I have been out riding past bears and through sleet,
but weather and wildlife and bicycle seat
will all be forgotten when we two shall meet.

I have been out riding all night and all day
